Sravan, Kirtan are Main

Practise in the proper way, through sravanam, kirtanam. Sometimes we get some faith and do some service emotionally—we must be careful about that. Sravanam and kirtanam are the main things for the proper practice.

If somebody cannot understand Bhagavatam or Chaitanya-charitamrita properly, it is not a problem, they can sing some songs—if they practise singing some songs, reading their meaning, that will also give you a great benefit. Sravanam, kirtanam is the practising life and they are of main importance for our spiritual life.

Also, I am telling everybody: as much capacity you have, you must preach. Preach as much as possible. You are chanting the Holy Name and you should engage others in chanting of the Holy Name. Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj says that is somebody has some property, wealth, money, if they are so rich but do not use that money for the Lord, for the Guru and Vaishnavs, then some problem will come to their his life later (that property will give so much trouble to their family life or others' life, or their son, daughter, grandson, etc. may make much problem).

If you have spiritual knowledge and you do not use that knowledge for others, if you keep it for yourself, some problem will come to your life. When you have spiritual knowledge, you must donate that knowledge to others, to those who have none. If you not donate it, an offence and some problem will come. Do you understand what I am saying? You must preach according to your preaching capacity. If you have some knowledge, you must give that knowledge to others.
