When some problem comes in your service, at that time more feelings, more desire and strength will come to you for your service.

One time, two dogs decided to come from Kolkata to Nabadwip. They were thinking how they would go—by train, car or on foot? They talked to each other and decided, "All right, it is better to walk there."

So, they started walking from Kolkata to Nabadwip, and just before they left they asked somebody, "How many days are necessary to get to Nabadwip on foot?" Somebody told them, "It will take you seven days." And they started walking.

They walked and walked, and then the evening came and they thought, "It is night time now, we will not walk. We will continue walking tomorrow. We have seven days to go, and we have walked too much on the first day..." So, they stopped at some place to rest. They were about to take rest there when many local dogs started barking at them, "Hey, why have you come here?! It is our place! Why have you come here?! It is our place!!" The two dogs ran away, "No, no, let them bark, better if we go..."

They started walking again. They walked and walked, and after midnight they thought, "Oh, we are too tired now, we must take rest!" They were going to take rest in some place, but then again the same thing happened as before—as they were about to lie down, local dogs understood that some dogs had come from outside and started barking, "Get out! Get out from here! Why are you here?!" The dogs thought, "Oh, what can we do? We have to go..."

They started walking again and in the morning the saw that they had come to Nabadwip!

The meaning of this story is that thanks to the disturbance made by the other dogs they came to their destination quickly. So, if so many Vaishnav aparadhi criticise you, it is actually a benefit for you, it is not a loss. Do you see how the dogs arrived quickly? It would take them seven days to get to Nabadwip, but instead they came there in just one day. So, if somebody criticises you, your speed of walking will be more, you will not rest, and can reach your own destination.

Sanatan-siksa: Spontaneous Loving Devotion
'Sanatan, I have described the practices of devotion guided by rules and regulations (vaidhi-bhakti) to you, now hear about the signs of devotion guided by spontaneous love and affection (raganuga-bhakti).'

Sri Sri Damodarastakam
'O Lord, although You are able to give all kinds of benedictions, I do not pray to you for the boon of impersonal liberation, nor the highest liberation of eternal life in Vaikuntha, nor any other boon [which may be obtained by executing the nine processes of bhakti]. O Lord, I simply wish that this form of Yours as Bala Gopala in Vrndavana may ever be manifest in my heart, for what is the use to me of any other boon besides this?'

Strong desire is necessary: if you have desire, mercy will come.
