His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj
Siliguri, 30 April 2019, evening, part 10
Translated from Bengali

The other day I went to the market and saw there a sign board saying, 'Asta-kaliya lila' and it reminded me of what I wrote here, in Upadesh 3, about it. Read it carefully. Read it and see what is asta-kaliya lila, when it happens, and what happens during this time. I have also written there about hell – there are twenty-one plus seven more kinds of hell. Read this book carefully. Many people say they were very happy when they read it. It is also translated into English, and it is being translated into Spanish. They read it and say that they have never heard anything like that. I wrote there also about offenders, about 'Home-interest vs Math-interest' and 'Provincialism and Service to the Lord'.

Read this book, it is very important for you all. You may not have money, but even if it causes you some trouble, buy the books. You do not have to give me any money – buy these books and read them instead. You will be able to know Hari-katha, and if anybody asks you anything, you will be able to give a reply.

Every year we do Sri Nabadwip Dham parikrama, Sri Purusottam Ksetra parikrama and Sri Vrindavan Dham parikrama – it is necessary to keep all this in your hearts. Vrindavan parikrama is already coming soon. I know that many devotees are poor and they cannot spend six to nine thousand rupees, so I will try to make it so that you can go there for four thousand rupees. I will try to make it cheaper. We have two temples in two places, so there will be no problem with accommodation – we can all stay at our temples. When we go to Puri, the tour costs about two thousand rupees because we have to buy two-way tickets, rent buses, arrange prasadam (you all know that Jagannath prasad is always very expensive). When you cook at home and make some vegetables, dal, paramanna and chutney, it costs about forty-fifty rupees to make it, but if you buy Jagannath prasad, they will charge a hundred and fifty rupees. We pay twenty-five to thirty-two thousand rupees to feed two–three hundred people. This year I heard that five hundred people are coming with me to Puri. Even if you have no money, still come. Come to the train station and go anyhow. We will take a 'Jagannath express' (train) from Howrah on 29 June, in the afternoon. Come, I do not mind it. This Math is yours. Even if you come to Puri on your own, nobody will kick you out. Come, everybody will get prasad and a place to stay at.

Even if you have been to these parikramas, you must still come – every year, every time. You should have enthusiasm and eagerness, you should always think, 'When is Nabadwip Dham parikrama? When will I go to Puri again? When is Vrindavan Dham parikrama going to be? When will I go again?' I will try to make it cheaper for you to go to Vrindavan, so that you do not have to struggle so much. What will those who are poor do? I know that many want to go, but not everybody can afford it.

My Home, My Family, My Place
'Who are my family members? Devotees of Krishna.. Master, tie me in front of your door. When your enemy comes, I will keep them away from your house boundary. I will take the remnants of your devotees' prasadam, and when you call me, I will come to you dancing!'

If the feeling comes to your heart that 'I am doing so much offence,'
it is a good symptom for your spiritual life.
