I cannot understand why this kind of position is happening in the Australian Mission. They are all confused and doubtful, but it is necessary to have proper faith. That is the problem.

ব্রহ্মাণ্ড ভ্রমিতে কোন ভাগ্যবান্ জীব ।
গুরু-কৃষ্ণ-প্রসাদে পায় ভক্তিলতা-বীজ ॥

‘Having travelled throughout the universe, some fortunate souls receive the seed of the devotional creeper by the mercy of Sri Guru, who is non-different from Krishna.’

Having travelled throughout the universe, we have now received the seed of the devotional creeper by the mercy of Sri Guru, but actually we have no quality or qualification ('yogyata vichare nahi pai'), so we need gurudev's mercy ('tomara karuna sara'). That is the most important thing for us.

I am praying to everybody, I am calling everybody, 'Please come. At least one day a week, on Sunday, you can come to the programme and have some ista-gosthi together.' You can meet everybody and spend some time together. Otherwise, you go out, work the whole day, and in the evening you come home and go to sleep. This is not life. This is an extremely hellish position. Such a life is all about material things, the things that you did before, too. Now, by some great fortune or luck, you have got a human body, but what is this human body for? What have you got a human body for? Only to eat, sleep and enjoy a family life? This is nothing. You must understand it. Only eating, sleeping, enjoying, having sex and making children is not life! Be very careful with your lives.

For spiritual life, it is necessary to understand these things. These are the basic things.

So, are there any questions? Tell me.

Question: How are you doing?

I have no problem, everything is OK. I do not care about anything. I am OK. I am doing my preaching, I am going outside and preaching. This is my life. I have surrendered to Gurudev, so my life is for Gurudev. My life and everything in my life are for him. So, I have no problem.

What happened, what is happening and what will happen depends only on the will of the Lord, on the will of Krishna. I think like this. Everything happens according to His will, so we depend on Him – He will arrange for us whatever He wishes. As for us, we will do our duty towards Him. We have our duty, and this duty is to serve Him under the guidance of our gurudev. That is what matters to us. As for the rest, what is going on here, what is happening, what is this, what is that, that is not a question. I do not think about it. This is not what matters. What matters is how much I am practising, how much I can chant, how much I can preach, how much I am doing for Gurudev and how I can progress in my spiritual life. That is the question. Everything else is material things. What is happening, what happened – these are trifle matters. It does not matter.

Gurudev said that in previous ages demons came undisguised, but in the Age of Kali, there are demons who come in the disguise of devotees to disturb your service, to disturb your Krishna consciousness. You can see that some people look like devotees – they come wearing devotees' clothes (they can wear white clothes or even saffron clothes), kanthi-malas and tilaks, they chant on beads – but their behaviour and activities are like those of demons. This is what Gurudev said, and I believe it – I have 100% faith in this. We have to have faith, and it must guide us in our everyday life.

So, what is the problem? I do not have any problems. I always do my duty. Even if I have to stay under a tree, I do not care. Srila Sanatan Goswami and Srila Rupa Goswami stayed on the street, under some trees. When Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj went to America, at first he would also sit under a tree. So, what is the problem? We may have made some buildings, but what is happening now is all Krishna's will, so we do not think anything about it. All right?
