Sri Chaitanya Saraswati—The
Voice of Sri Chaitanyadev (Vol 1)
Compiled by Sripad Bhakti Ananda Sagar Maharaj and published originally on 12
October 1990, the booklet was subsequently reprinted on 8 March 1993.
"Guru Maharaj always directed his devotees to engage
themselves twenty-four hours daily in the service of the Lord. In this way,
you can ignore the mundane world and you must reach your destination. Depend
on Him as much as you can. Learn to believe in Him, the Absolute Good. We
should not rely on the future. We do not know where we shall be hurled to at
any moment, by the course of the different currents of the environment. So
act in the living present, believe only the present. Try to make the most of
the present. Don’t bother retaining the previous incidents of your
life."

Sri Chaitanya Saraswati—The
Voice of Sri Chaitanyadev (Vol 2)
Printed in December 1990, this is the first printed publication compiled from
lectures of Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and it is a jewel full of
spiritual nourishment, encouragement and guidance, explaining the pitfalls,
the ups and downs a divine servitor faces on the path of their practising
life and divine service.
"We are chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra as given
by Mahaprabhu Sri Chaitanyadev and this is the main goal of life. We need all
that is good, not bad, and this is possible by coming into the line of Sriman
Mahaprabhu and Mahaprabhu has taught us humility, tolerance and giving honour
to others. This is the process to proceed to our destination. This is the way
to proceed to the association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the
transcendental world."

The Guardian of Devotion
(1)
Prepared and published by Sripad Bhakti Sudhir Goswami Maharaj in the mid
1980s, this booklet contains an extensive background of Srila B.R. Sridhar
Dev-Goswami Maharaj and Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaj’s relationship
as well as a glimpse of the depth of Srila B.R. Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj’s
divine teachings.
"It is our hope that the readers of this small booklet
will approach the contents with an attitude of humble submission and an open
heart. And we pray that their attachment to the lotus feet of Sri Guru may be
increased."

The Guardian of Devotion
(2)
Prepared and published from Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, Dum Dum Park,
Kolkata, in 1986, this booklet contains discourses of Srila B.R. Sridhar
Dev-Goswami Maharaj, Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj as well as
several prominent dignitaries of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, commemorating
the fifth centenary celebration of the appearance of Sri Chaitanya
Mahaprabhu.
"Why should we run after a phantasmagoria? It seems
that apparently we are searching after something imaginary, leaving behind
the concrete world, but this world is not the concrete reality. We have to
understand that this is not substantial. Everyone is here for some time and
then they are passing away. So, if we want to conquer death, then we have to
seek that inner world where this body may not go; this mind will not be
utilized there."

Guardian of Devotion
(3)
Prepared and published by Sripad Bhakti Prapanna Tirtha Maharaj in 1988, the
book contains divine discourses of Srila B.R. Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj,
Srila B.S. Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati
Thakur as well as several prominent dignitaries of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat
Math.
"The divine potency, maya, has kept tempting
objects as exhibits for alluring me just as the fishing hook or the net, or
the rat-trap or the chain, is set to delude fish, rats, elephants, etc. The
object is that I may thereby get more and more entangled in the worldly
meshes. God is the shelter for all. He sends many obstacles and
inconveniences to those who wish for shelter under Him, in order to test
their ardour and steadiness."

THE MAHAPRASAD OR 'THE
GREAT FAVOUR’
(From The Harmonist)
'Eating is supposed to be a physical or mundane affair and to have no
connection with the soul. The food that has been offered by the sadhus
to the Lord is categorically different from ordinary food. To take ordinary
food is harmful for the soul. By honouring mahaprasad not only is the
soul saved from the bad effect of eating but is positively benefited by
obtaining the inclination for spiritual service.'
