Lord Nrisinghadev

His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad
Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj,
5 May 2012

We always pray to Lord Nrisinghadev, "শুদ্ধ-ভক্তি বিঘ্ন বিনাশ কর, Suddha-bhaktir vighna vinas kora: please, remove the obstacles to pure devotion and bad elements from our society." That is our only prayer to Lord Nrisinghadev. I am also praying to Nrisinghadev for that.

Nrisinghadev is always happy with His affectionate devotee, Prahlad Maharaj, and those who are the Lord's dear devotees are not afraid of Lord Nrisinghadev—they pray to Him.

One time a devotee brought some prasadam of Lord Nrisinghadev to Gurudev, and Gurudev became a little thoughtful. At first he hesitated, but then he suddenly said, "I am afraid, so I can take Nrisinghadev's prasadam, but my Guru Maharaj is not afraid." Gurudev said that. You know that everybody was afraid of Lord Nrisinghadev, but Prahlad Maharaj was not. Prahlad Maharaj immediately went to Nrisinghadev, and the Lord gave him so much affection. Lord Nrisinghadev is always affectionate to His dear devotees.

I am praying to Lord Nrisinghadev that He may protect our mission. That is our prayer and hope.

Jay Nrisinghadev!
Jay Prahlad Maharaj ki jay!

Bhuliya Tomare
'Forgetting You and coming to the material world, I have undergone all sorts of suffering. Now I have come before Your feet and will express my tale of distress.'

Sri Sri Damodarastakam
'O Lord Damodara, I first of all offer my obeisances to the brilliantly effulgent rope which binds Your belly. I then offer my obeisances to Your belly, which is the abode of the entire universe. I humbly bow down to Your most beloved Srimati Radharani, and I offer all obeisances to You, the Supreme Lord, who displays unlimited pastimes.'

Unfortunately, you get a wife, friends, parents—you get some happiness and,
enjoying with that, you forget Krishna.
