pujya-sri-guru-varga-vandita-mahabhavanvitayah sada "I bow my head in eternal obeisance to my Gurudev, the best of acharyas, Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj. jaya guru maharaja karuna-sagara Glory to Guru Maharaj, Sri Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, an ocean of mercy. He manifested the effulgent service of Nitai Chaitanyadev in Nilachal for the benefit of the entire world.
vaisnavera pada-dhuli tahe mora snana-keli "The feet dust of the Vaishnavs is where I sport and take bath, Vaishnavs' name is the water oblation. My mind is intently fixed upon the remnants of Vaishnavs, and I am elated at the name of Vaishnavs."
gangara-parasa ha-ile paschate pavana "If the Ganges touches someone, they are purified some time later; but one becomes purified just by seeing you, O Vaishnava Thakur. Such is your power." |
Devotees eagerly gather at the Sevak Bhavan and wait for His Divine Grace to
start the parikrama.
Taking darshan of Sri Sri Nitai Chaitanyadev, devotees set off for the
parikrama.
As each year, the first holy place visited is the holy ocean proclaimed by
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to be a grand holy place after the body of Srila
Haridas Thakur had been washed by its waters.
His Divine Grace along with the devotees pay obeisance on the shore, joyfully
chant kirtan and take some water from the ocean on their heads.
Passing the gate of the temple of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math where the
parikrama started from and proceeding further down the road:
Srila Haridas Thakur's samadhi mandir. His Divine Grace commented that
before, the ocean reached up to this place and Sriman Mahaprabhu made the
samadhi mandir here, on its shore.

Sri Chatak Parvat, non different from Sri Govardhan. Here, Srila Bhakti
Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur established Sri Gaudiya Math and spent some time
yearly.
