Mon, 1 January 2018:
Protect the Mission, Protect Yourself
"Gurudev's last word is wherever you live, you must maintain your spiritual life, your practitioner's life, but I doubt that everybody is following it. We must follow Gurudev's instruction. We must join the mission and practise properly."

Tue, 2 January 2018:
Chaste and Sincere Service
"We must be chaste, we must be sincere, we must accept these teachings. Taking shelter of Guru and Vaishnavs, serving the Guru and Vaishnavs is what is called bhajan. What service have we done at the temple of our Guru Maharaj? We must think about this."
Download the audio (1.4 Mb, 6 min | 8 February 2017 | Bengali)

Wed, 3 January 2018:
Highest Benefactors

Download the audio (1.2 Mb, 5 min | 8 February 2017 | Bengali)

Thu, 4 January 2018:

In honour of Srila Ramachandra Kaviraj:

Power of Good Association
"You must see the sadhu with your ears. Every day you sing, 'Ramachandra-sanga mage Narottama Dasa: Narottam Das prays for the association of Ramachandra Kaviraj.' What does this mean? Why does Narottam Das always ask for the association of Ramachandra?"

Fri, 5 January 2018:
Beyond I and Mine
"We always take untruth as truth—we believe that His things are ours. We always think in terms of 'my' and 'I'. We are slaves of our tongues, but look at the examples of the Vaishnavs."

Today:
"According to solar calculation, it was on the day of Makara-sankranti, an auspicious conjunction of the stars, that Nimai Pandit went to Katwa to take sannyasa, the renounced order of life. The ordinary public was very much enraged, and Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu began performing kirtan, chanting Hare Krishna and dancing madly. And the angry mob grew, sometimes creating a disturbance. In this way, the whole day passed with no decision. The night passed in sankirtana. And the next day, Nimai's will prevailed, although there was still some opposition. Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj's poem expressing the grief-stricken hearts of the residents of Nabadwip: "Vishvambhar, the son of Jagannath Mishra, who resides in Nabadwip, Sachi's Nimai, has taken sannyas. A tumult of cries filled the sky—Sachi's Nimai has taken sannyas!"

From Sri Sri Prema Dhama Deva Stotram:

koti-kantha-krsna-kirtanadhya-danda-dharanam

"Sri Gaurasundara departed from Nabadwip and went away to become a sannyasi (monk), leaving behind his family members and friends whose eyes were filled with tears. He accepted the staff and waterpot as his only possessions, the emblems of a renunciate. When his long hair was cut off and his head was shaved, thousands of voices sang the holy names. The devotee's eyes shed rivers of tears, since they knew he was going into the world and leaving them behind. From that time, whoever saw him in the red garments of a sannyasi cried out loud in grief. I sing with joy the unending glories of my sweet Lord, my golden Gaurasundara, the one and only divine abode of pure love."

'If you think you can conquer illusory environment, can conquer your ego and everything else, it is not possible. These are Gurudev's words. He said it is only possible through sravanam, kirtanam—through practising. Not in any other way.'

Sri Sri Prema-Vivarta
“Service to Krishna and the sadhus is relishable to the soul. By simply opposing material nature, you end up completely disheartened.”

We must promise on this day: Gurudev is giving us life for one more year,
and for one more year we will engage ourselves in service to the Guru.
