On the second day of Sri Puri Dham pilgrimage, His Divine Grace Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj takes the devotees to the house of Sri Kashi Misra, Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya and Sri Jagannathdev's main Temple.

Towards Destination

INVITATION to Srila B.R. Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj's Disappearance Festival

The holy disappearance day of our supremely worshippable Om Vishnupad Sri Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, the founder and eternal guardian of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, falls on 11 August (Saturday) this year. We would like to extend a cordial invitation to all devotees and friends to join us in the special worship, lecture, reading of scriptures, kirtan, glorification, bhoga offering, prasad distribution, and other practices of pure devotion on this holy separation festival that shall be held under the guidance and in the shelter of the lotus feet of Om Vishnupad Jagad Guru Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj at our Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math throughout India and other worldwide centres under the holy guidance of Acharyas and senior Vaishnavs.

Some preparations and items that are known to be favourite to His Divine Grace include: natural orange juice (with just a little sugar), cholar dahl (split chickpea dal), alu bhaja (deep-fried potato), muri, puri/luchi with alu bhaja, aloo dum, samosa, pineapple chutney, puspanna, figs (dumur), chaunsa mango.

Love for Guru
"If you give a garland to Gurudev, if you pay obeisance to Gurudev, it is a formality, but the main thing is that you must serve your Guru from your heart. The problem is that everybody wants to do service, but we do not know what is service."

Mind Your Own Faults
"I am telling this to all the devotees all over the world. What for have you come to Krishna consciousness? What for have you become a disciple of your Guru? You must understand what is Krishna consciousness, what is service. Do not criticise anybody."

Root of Anartha
"Money is the root of anartha. If you run behind money, wealth, property, ladies, Krishna will give you property, wealth, etc., but ultimately He will remove devotion from you—you will lose devotion. That is the main thing."
