Love Your Service
"The main thing is that we must do the service that the Guru and Vaishnavs want me to do and engage me in. The Guru and Vaishnavs tell us to do something, we may feel unhappy doing it, but we must not leave the service because of that."

Beyond Body Consciousness
"We should not be busy with our body—we should keep ourselves busy with service to our Guru and Vaishnavs. Life is very short, so do not waste your time on laziness, etc.—it is not good. We must spend time on the service to Gurudev."

Christmas Event in Soquel

Since 1990 the community of devotees from the Soquel Seva Ashram has been holding an annual event on Christmas Eve to nourish children with prasadam and gifts. Much to the joy of Srila B.P. Janardan Maharaj, all devotees and over 250 children very happily participate in this programme. We are honoured to be sharing photographs from this year's event.

Practitioners' Problem

No Excuses
"We are always afraid of austerity, but we must accept any austerity, any unhappiness for the service to our guru. It is not a problem for us. Spiritual life depends on tolerance and on following the guru's instruction—always."
