On this day we are bound to give the sorrowful news that a group of Indian
devotees from Nabadwip has got into a car accident that led to the loss of
Sripad Santosh Krishna Prabhu, a senior servitor and secretary of Sri
Chaitanya Saraswat Math, as well as Vikash Prabhu of Uluberia (it is known
that all other devotees who were in the car are hospitalised, out of
danger).
Taking the blessings and feet dust of Sri Gurupadpadma Om Vishnupad Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj, the preaching party left Nabadwip today in the morning and was on the way to a preaching programme in Midnapore; the accident happened as they were in the outskirts of Kolkata. The Vaishnava-seva will be held on Thursday, 9 June, and we are humbly inviting all devotees of our Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, as well as other Gaudiya Missions, to please join us on this day. |
Satisfaction
"Preaching is necessary. How do so many devotees come for the
parikrama? We invite them—they do not know anything about Mahaprabhu,
but we just invite them, 'Come and see.' They listen to Hari-katha and get
some sukriti and through that become devotees."
