Pranati Dasakam

naumi sri-gurupadabjam yati-rajesvaresvaram
sri-bhakti-raksakam srila-sridhara-svaminam sada [1]

I eternally offer my obeisance at the holy lotus feet of my most worshipful Divine Master, the supreme emperor of the sannyasi kings – Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Swami.

sudirghonnata-diptangam supibya-vapusam param
tridanda-tulasi-mala-gopi-chandana-bhusitam [2]
achintya-pratibha-snigdham divya-jnana-prabhakaram
vedadi-sarva-sastranam samanjasya-vidhayakam [3]
gaudiyacharya-ratnanam-ujjvalam ratna-kaustubham
sri-chaitanya-mahapremon-mattalinam siromanim [4]

Very tall, dignified and divinely effulgent, his incomparable holy form is charming to the eye; he bears a triple staff of a mendicant and is adorned with Tulasi neckbeads and tilaks; although he possesses the qualification of inconceivable intellectual potency, he is very affectionate, and the effulgence of his transcendental (supramundane) pure knowledge illuminates all ten directions; he brings all scriptures (Vedas, Vedanta, Upanisads, Sri Bhagavata Purana, etc., which are non-different from the Lord Himself) into true harmony; he is a brilliant, effulgent kaustubha gem in the jewel necklace of acharyas of Sri Gaudiya sampradaya line; and he exists as the crest-jewel among bumblebee-devotees intoxicated with the grand divine love of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu – I eternally offer my obeisance at the holy lotus feet of my most worshipful Divine Master.

gayatry-artha-viniryasam gita-gudhartha-gauravam
stotra-ratnadi-samrddham prapanna-jivanamrtam [5]
apurva-grantha-sambharam bhaktanam hrd-rasayanam
krpaya yena dattam tam naumi karunya-sundaram [6]

Mercifully revealing in full the deepest meaning of gayatri, the Mother of the Vedas, and uncovering the treasure chest of the glory of Sri Srimad Bhagavad Gita’s hidden meaning, he distributed it to one and all, including even the lowest; he manifested Sri Prapanna-jivanamritam, the king of all scriptures, enriched with various precious expression of devotees and the Lord, as well as an unprecedented collection of holy books, which are like balm for the hearts of the Lord’s devotees – such is his gift to the world. I eternally offer my obeisance at the holy lotus feet of my most worshipful Divine Master.

sankirtana-maha-rasa-rasabdhes chandrama-nibham
sambhati vitaran visve gaura-krsnam ganaih saha [7]

His highest beauty is that together with his associates he distributes to the whole world the Supreme Lord Sri Gaura-Krishna, the Moon that arose from the ocean of the nectar of transcendental ecstasy relished in the congregational chanting of Lord Sri Krishna’s Holy Names.

dhamani sri-navadvipe gupta-govardhane subhe
visva-visruta-chaitanya-sarasvata-mathottamam [8]
sthapayitva gurun gaura-radha-govinda-vigrahan
prakasayati chatmanam seva-samsiddhi-vigrahah [9]
gaura-sri-rupa-siddhanta-divya-dhara-dharam-gurum
sri-bhakti-raksakam devam sridharam pranamamy aham [10]

He established Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, the world-renowned king of temples, at the place in Sri Koladwip known as aparadha-bhanjana-pat (the holy place where all offences are forgiven), which is Gupta Govardhan of Sri Nabadwip Dham, non-different from Sri Vraja Dham, and revealed there the beauty of service to Their Lordships Sri Sri Guru Gauranga Gandharva Govinda-sundar; and he then manifested himself as a holy Deity embodying the very perfection of service. I am offering my obeisance at the holy lotus feet of my most worshippable Divine Master, Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, the holder of the divine current of Sri Rupanuga and Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati, dearly beloved to Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu.

sraddhaya yah pathen nityam pranati-dasakam muda
visate raga-margesu tasya bhakta-prasadatah [11]

Those who happily and with faith study this ‘Pranati Dasakam’ every day will attain the mercy of Srila Gurudev’s associates and receive the right to serve the Lord on the path of spontaneous love.
